Web Awareness Day is an internationally recognized public education program designed to provide parents and other adults with resources to help young people be safe, well-informed and ethical when they go online.  This site provides information on safe and responsible web usage, helpful sites for kids as well as protecting kids from online predators.
Teachers Planet is a community for teachers who are interested in growing their careers. :-)   The site is well organized and contains subject-specific professional guides and comprehensive resources for the classroom.
Interested in using a Palm Pilot?  Pennsylvania teacher, Gary Ankney, wrote in about his site, EduPalm:  "In EduPalm I'm working on providing basic resources for the new Palm-type PDA user (with a focus on education).  I maintain a features table of ALL standard Palm handhelds, advice on choosing a PDA, selective annotated links and original articles.  I think your members will find EduPalm useful."  Also provides several links to other sites that provide information on using Palm Pilots.

The University of Victoria offers free online services for teachers.  You have to register to download the software, but it's free.  The Hot Potatoes suite includes six applications, enabling you to create interactive multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises for the World Wide Web.

 Teaching Treasures contains online interactive activities, projects, worksheets, and much more.
This is a highly important site.  The State Department of Education contains Gateway Proficiencies, Gateway Testing Initiative, Curriculum Frameworks, and more.  Click on "For Education" to find this information.
 Kids Domain is a beautiful site that has games, sports, graphics, and activities for holidays.
Tech LEARNING offers a "site of the day" with a detailed description of the site.  Visit this site DAILY!
AOL@School contains numerous resources for teachers and students as well.  Each level of learning contains a theme of the week.
More than any generation before them, the children and youth of today are growing up in a world shaped by global developments. To be informed, students need to learn more about what is going on, not only within their own country, but also on the international stage.  You can find more information at G8 Summit Site.
