New Site!! Download copies of The Learning Circle, created to meet a pressing need for simple classroom activities that educators can easily fit in their curriculum. The guides are geared to educators of children aged four to 14. The simple activities included in each Learning Circle have been designed to help students learn more about First Nations and related issues through fun and interactive exercises.  Younger students will enjoy the traditional stories and games, while older children can learn more about a range of topical issue, including treaties and self-government.
New Site!!  Starfall is full of sound and animation and helps teach small children (4-7) to read using rhyming words and phonetics.  It is very engaging and could be used in the classroom or independently by small children.
New Site!!  Jan Brett's website contains this fantastic set of drawings that will help your students print or handwrite.  The coloring opportunities are excellent too!
New Site!! Handwriting for Kids has lessons featured on their own page, and kids are shown in simple steps how to write the numbers, letters, and sentences. Kids can trace uppercase and lowercase letters, and even blank sheets are provided for kids to practice more before their next lessons!
New Site!! Plumb Design's Visual Thesaurus is an awesome tool that provides meanings of words used as different parts of speech.
bulletTeaching Ideas is for teachers who teach primary-age children (i.e. ages 5 to 11). Although it has been designed with UK teachers in mind, all ideas can of course be used by teachers around the world.

bullet Vocabulary Development Using Music is an excellent lesson plan using lyrics to songs to strengthen vocabulary skills.
bullet The Teacher List allows teachers to sign up for a daily email newsletter that contains lesson plans and ideas that are tried and tested by real teachers!
