New Site!   Wonderville is an AWESOME site to find great science activities.  Activities are based on a mystery that students must solve.  This site is a MUST SEE!  Click on the word "Wonderville" to begin.
New Site!  At Molecular Expressions, you can view the Milky Way at 10 million light years from the Earth. Then move through space towards the Earth in successive orders of magnitude until you reach a tall oak tree just outside the buildings of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee, Florida. After that, begin to move from the actual size of a leaf into a microscopic world that reveals leaf cell walls, the cell nucleus, chromatin, DNA and finally, into the subatomic universe of electrons and protons.
New Site!  The Wild Republic Learning Adventure features free educational materials for teachers, including teachers' guides, lesson plans and classroom activities.  The current them revolves around birds.
One World Journeys is a National Geographic-esque group of Pulitzer prize winning photographers, award-winning journalists and adventurous teachers with a strong environmental awareness focus.

KidWings is a great site for information on all types of birds.  In their words, "The most exciting part of this web site is the Virtual Owl Pellet dissections."
Switcheroo Zoo is an interactive site that allows you to switch the parts of animals to create and name whole new animal. ex. the head of a cheetah on the body of a rhino could be a "cheno".  It also has science and creative writing lessons in the Teacher Reference section. 
The Center for Improved Engineering and Science Education is about to ask a lot of people all over the world which traits they have. One way for students to learn how their physical characteristics, or traits, are inherited is by gathering a great deal of information about specific, easily-seen human features. Students can analyze this information to determine which traits are controlled by dominant genes and how often such dominant genes occur.  During this project, students will complete surveys, formulate hypotheses, and use the data compiled by students around the globe to test their hypotheses.
Earth & Sky's Teacher's Lounge wants the Earth and sky to be a part of the classroom.  They produce daily radio and Internet broadcasts, transcripts, "More Info" on daily script topics, question and answer features, and special Web articles. Their subjects include astronomy, skywatching, earth sciences, biology, ecology, anthropology, weather and others.
