SFS Kids is a great site for learning about the different instruments in an orchestra, as well as a bit of music theory. This site could be a bit noisy in a school computer lab with all the kids using it, but it would be well worth it!

Take interactive Jazz classes and learn all about the jazz style of music at Smithsonian Jazz.

Young Composers is a great site for aspiring musicians. Musical compositions may be submitted and heard at this site.
