New Site!  Reach Every Child offers a vast amount of information concerning our country's presidents.  Be sure to check it out!
New Site!  At CBC For Teachers, you will find ideas for incorporating CBC's Radio and TV archives into your classroom along with lesson plans and activity sheets, which you can download. All the materials are provided at no charge.  The material is presented to complement the topics that you'll find in the rest of the Web site (Trudeaumania, Terry Fox, Africville, and so on). Many but not all of the archival topics have corresponding educational material.  A great site for Canadian teachers or those who wish to know more about Canada.  Išve put the root URL here because there is a lot of material that may be of use.  To get to the Teacher Materials, click on FOR TEACHERS at the right of the screen.
New Site!  HyperHistory Online is a great site for history, social studies, current events, general information.  Over 2,000 files are interconnected throughout the site. In addition to that, HyperHistory provides several hundred links to the world wide web.
New Site!  The World in the Classroom is a brief article on strategies that you can use in the classroom to teach about world culture. The resources listed are appropriate for K to 12 classrooms.
Rulers.org contains lists of heads of state and heads of government (and, in certain cases, de facto leaders not occupying either of those formal positions) of all countries and territories, going back to about 1700 in most cases. Also included are the subdivisions of various countries as well as a selection of international organizations.
Take a trip to Yellowstone National Park without ever leaving your classroom.  You can even ask an expert about questions you may have.

The Farmer's Almanac is a treasure of useful information for day-to-day.  Find information on weather, gardening, the sunrise and sunset, phases of the moon, and other things you will find helpful.
Hyper History contains over 2,000 files covering 3,000 years of world history......a site that is rich with information.
At The National Archive Online Exhibit Hall, you will find unique primary source materials of historical documents and well as information surrounding those documents.
Strike it rich historically at California's Gold Rush Country through stories and photographs.
Experience life in 1492 with Christopher Columbus.  Introduction to 1492 delves into Columbus' explorations and adventures and the way in which his journey brought two very different worlds together.
Country Library is a comprehensive reference site that provides a vast amount of information on all countries of the world.
Visit POTUS, sponsored by the Internet Public Library to find background information, election results, cabinet members, notable events, and points of interest for every president of the United States.
Learn all you can about Africa at Africa Online for Kids.
Kids Web Japan is a colorful and informative site that provides lots of information about Japan.
Check out American Memory from the Library of Congress to find primary source materials relating to the history and culture of the US.
Help your students get involved in what's going on with our country's government.  White House Kids will do just that, allow you to meet each member of the President's family - even their pets!
National Park Service fills you in on the finer points of using our country's national parks, as well as the essential information about each.
Learn about youth in the 19th century and how they were raised at Sunday School Books.
