  • The McNairy County School System partnered with the Tennessee Department of Rehabilitation Services in 1997 to provide Vocational Rehabilitation services to the students of the McNairy County School System.  Vocational Rehabilitation is a federal/state funded program providing services to help individuals with disabilities enter or return to employment.  The types of services provided are based on the needs of the individual and are designed to help the individual become employable.  Services may include:  diagnosis, counseling and guidance, treatment, training, maintenance and transportation, rehabilitation technology, job placement, and post-employment services.  Students with the McNairy County School System may apply for Vocational Rehabilitation services 18 months prior to exiting school.  To apply, contact the McNairy County Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Kim Rowland, at (731)645-5066.
