Homework

    Every child has an important notebook that they bring home daily. This notebook has their weekly reading story, vocabulary words, and spelling words for the week.  You should go over the information daily.  In addition I will be assigning homework Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights.  It is important they complete their homework themselves.  The work will be review skills and they should be able to complete it with little or no help.  This is an expectation of 1st grade and all students are required to do it nightly.  I will keep a record of all students who complete their homework.
