We have a special tribute to the late Mr. Dominic Congiardo. Mr. Dominic Congiardo was the uncle of Mr. Frankie Congiardo. He passed away Monday, October 24th 2005. We are very saddened by his loss. He was a great inspiration to us all. We would ask that you pray for his family in their time of need. Thank you.
This year the AHS Marching Band’s field show was titled ‘Phantom of the Opera.’ The show consists of ‘Phantom of the Opera,’ ‘Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again,’ ‘The Masquerade,’ and ‘The Phantom of the Opera Finale.’ The field-commander this year is Caroline Bart. The Band Director is Mr. Frankie Congiardo and the Assistant Band Director is Mr. Scott King. The Color Guard Instructor is Ms. Lori Kee. The section leaders for this year were: Flutes -Robbin Acker, Clarinets- Holly Spencer, Trumpets- Brook Terry, Low Brass- Jarred Milford , Saxophones- Bronwyn Humphries, Pit –Brenda Spence, Percussion- Kelly Sowell, and Color Guard- Magan Alexander. The seniors are Robbin Acker, Holly Spencer, Jennifer Leath, Brook Terry, Magan Alexander, Mary Wiley, Brenda Spence, and Courtney Weathorford.
This year the Christmas Concert will be on December 15th at the Adamsville Jr/Sr High School gym at 6:30. The High School Band will be playing Silent Night, O Little Town of Bethlehem, and Symphonic Prelude on Adeste Fidelis. The Junior High School Band will be playing Jingle-Bell Rock, Frosty the Snowman, and Let It Snow. The Band will also be playing Jingle Bell Jam in the Adamsville, Crump, and Milledgeville parades. The Adamsville Parade will be on December 6, Crump’s parade will be on December 8, and Milledgeville’s will be on December 9.
